A gentle sloping one mile hike to the ocean, with light clouds,makes for a perfect outing in the early year. Christian and Rachel, deciding to forge ahead, lead the way.
After all have descended safely, the ocean begins its irresistible draw that so many parents have known their children to be attracted to. "I thought I told you not to get wet."
After a thorough wetting, a few sandcastles, playing with driftwood, climbing mud hills, throwing mud from hills, teasing birds, and finally gathering all of our stuff for hiking out, it was agreed that a good time was had by all.
Recommendation:Excellent Sunday afternoon walk, or just a place for a rest.
That third picture looks like the pelican is chasing Daniel! What'd you do? Steal it's eggs?
